Our team rider Andre Moura checked in and said the FBA tour started up and has been a blast. He tells us that, “Finally the summer is gone and last weekend FBA Tour 2009 (Florida Body Boarding Association) had the second and most important double points event of the year. The contest took place at Indialantic, central Florida. This event was the best one in Florida so far in years, good and clean waves, the best prices ever in FBA history and record of body boarders registered. Supported by FBA the sport is growing really fast here in Florida, every event I see new faces and more divisions are been opened, this is a good sign for US body boarding. I had 2nd place on Open AM (leading Open AM the ranking), 2nd place on Masters (vice-leading the ranking) and I lost on the second round of PRO. I’m sending some pics during the event.
