Well, due to the crummy conditions here in Southern California, I decided to head back up to the Wedge in Newport Beach to see if that was breaking again. And, once again the waves weren’t that good for any kind of performance bodyboarding, but it did make for another day of big drops and painful looking wipeouts. There were more photographers and video guys out than riders! The cold weather and bone crunching closeouts kind of made me NOT feel like surfing, so I just grabbed my crummy little camera and snapped some shots for the blog. Of course, right at ten o’clock when I had to leave, the sun came out and the wind quieted down and some sick looking ones came through. Oh well, maybe next time!
