In the few weeks, we have two local contests. With the BIA on May 16th at 9th Street and the USBA coming to town with it’s one and only event in Cali on May 23-25th. Lately contest have really been lacking the amount of riders competing. So show your support and if you can’t scrape up enough money at least go down and watch a couple of heats. Well since I’ve been home from Hawaii its been harder to get into the water than normal. Which has to do with the cold water and bad waves. But after fixing up some old toys I have been giving tow-outs a try. Hopefully I’ll have pics to show soon. If anyone has good experience advice is always appreciated. Drew Erichson

My Hawaii trip has now ended and overall was great. The contest scored waves which made for some great riding. With Ryan Hardy getting the win after many years of getting so close. A standout performance was David Phillips fellow eBodyboarding.com team rider. In my opinion Dave threw the biggest trick of the whole comp with a massive air reverse off an insane backdoor section.
