The Arcel attack is back my friends!

Yesterday I headed down to Oceanside where I picked up some new Arcel core boards.  With Polypro foam no longer being produced, the first batch of Arcel core boards

to come from BSD Bodyboards.  Arcel was developed for bodyboards in the mid-80′s.  This is a light, strong foam used for bodyboard cores. It’s properties include main

taining it’s stiffness even in warm waters. The downside is the ease with which it dented when you squeezed it. So, now that bodyboard manufacturers are limited with Polypro, some special companies have been able to resurrect Arcel cores.

Check out the new BSD line.  The Arcel is a lot stiffer, lighter, and faster than the new Polyethylene/Polypropylene core (3-d core) combo cores out on the market.  BSD boards are here.

It contains top-notch action from Hawaii, Australia, California as well as locations off the beaten path in mainland Mexico, the South Pacific and central Baja. The film also documents trips to uncharted territories in the Pacific Northwest in search of virgin slabs.

Local San Clemente ripper Collin had just come by to stock up on items for his Hawaii trip when we realized he needs to be riding for us.  1 hour later, he walked out of our warehouse as the newest member of team eBodyboarding.com.

Collin currently rides for Madrid Bodyboards and has been killing it on the California contest scene.  He recently took 2′nd in the Pro Division at the Salt Creek BIA (loosing narrowly to fellow team rider Drew Erichson).  He trains hard and rips harder, so look for some interesting results as he leaves this week for Hawaii where he’s got a spot in the big IBA Pipe contest.

Collin now joins the team and looks to support eBodyboarding.com along side of other riders like Paul Roach, John “Beans” Porzuczek, Brian Stoehr, and Drew Erichson.  Here’s some pics of Collin to froth over.  Look for more updates, photo’s, vids., and reviews from this ripper.
